Herbalife Family Foundation Establishes Casa Herbalife Program in Russia

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Through a grant from The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), Russia's Udelnaya Orphanage, located outside of Moscow, will be able to provide more nutritious meals to the children in its care, with funds to invest in updating and improving the orphanage's kitchen facilities.

The orphanage, in the Udelnaya village, is a boarding school for children aged 11-18 who are orphaned, abandoned by their parents or unable to live at home because of unstable conditions. There are currently 50 children living at the orphanage. The facility has the long-term goal of not only providing the children with a quality education but also helping them integrate into society and eventually become independent.

Founded in 1989, the center offers extra curricular activities such as joinery, metalwork, art, sewing, embroidery, cooking, literature groups and theater studies.

Local Herbalife independent distributors and employees have already raised funds to provide the school with clothes, stationery, books, handicraft materials, furniture and basic kitchen utensils

This is the 28th Casa Herbalife program established worldwide, and the ninth in the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

The Casa Herbalife program was launched in 2005 to help provide healthy and nutritious meals by partnering with existing charities serving children.
