LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF), a global nutrition and direct-selling company, named Edi Hienrich as senior vice president and managing director of its Europe, Middle East and African region. Hienrich, a 20-year Herbalife veteran, is responsible for all business, strategic, sales and marketing functions across the region's 37 markets. Hienrich will be based at the EMEA regional headquarters near London.
Hienrich has extensive experience at Herbalife having held senior leadership positions in South America, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Most recently, he served the U.S. market, as vice president of sales for the general market.
His company career started in finance and Hienrich quickly rose to country and regional management, where he led operations for Eastern Europe, and later, South America. He then moved into international development, where he was responsible for the opening of new markets including Brazil, India, Russia, Colombia and Singapore. His focus was then directed to Southeast Asia, where he developed and implemented long- and medium-term strategies to drive the region's expansion and growth.
