LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) announced the establishment of a Casa Herbalife program at Erie Neighborhood House in Chicago, Ill. to help provide good nutrition and nutrition education to the center's 200 pre-school aged children.
Established in 1870, Erie Neighborhood House was one of the first comprehensive social service agencies in Chicago and is now recognized for empowering the city's Latino and diverse low-income communities to reach their fullest potential. The diverse array of programs offered by Erie Neighborhood House reach more than 5,000 participants annually.
The initial grant will support a nutrition program designed to teach early nutrition education and good eating habits, as well as provide meals to participating children.
This is the 4th Casa Herbalife program in North America, and the 47th worldwide. Following an initial grant from HFF, local Herbalife independent distributors and employees will continue supporting the program through volunteerism and fundraising.
