ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- When he retired, 66-year-old Michigan native Tom Rickhoff decided a bicycle seat had to be better than a rocking chair. Tom left the Santa Monica, Calif. pier at 7 a.m. on September 7, 2010, with his wife Becky as his only support and a plan to ride across the country to raise money for the Herbalife Family Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) that helps provide good nutrition to children in need (www.herbalifefamilyfoundation.org). Today, after about 10 weeks and over 3,000 miles, Tom reached his goal destination - the beach at St. Augustine, FL. Why St. Augustine? The Fountain of Youth! (Photo: Daron Dean/Herbalife)
